Vinyac was the first brandy that was distilled in the Strauch Distillery, starting in 1995. The basic ingredient of Vinyac is a composition of fruity, aromatic wine varieties, such as Silvaner, Huxelrebe and Sauvignon Blanc, which are distilled into Vinyac.
The four-star Barrignac shows flavours that are reminiscent of vanilla and marzipan, developed through the liaison of the Gewuerztraminer grape variety with the small wooden barrel in which this Barrignac matures for four years.
Ideally suited for the “smokers‘ saloon“ in exclusive hotels or on cruise ships, for the aficionados of quality cigars, but also to accompany a fine cigar by the fireplace.
Made of selected wines in a gentle distillation process, this five-star Barrignac matured for five years in 225 litre barrique barrels which had previously been used for storing the finest red wines of the Strauch family winery.
This six-star Barrignac matures for ten years in the barrel. Throughout this long aging process in the barrique barrel, the content is reduced each year by four to five percent so that, after ten years, an amount of only six out of ten barrels is left – four barrels having evaporated “for the angels”.
This seven-star Barrignac matured in the barrique barrel inside the pyramid for twenty years before being filled into the bottles with the Kurfürst label
