Vinyac was the first brandy that was distilled in the Strauch Distillery, starting in 1995. The basic ingredient of Vinyac is a composition of fruity, aromatic wine varieties, such as Silvaner, Huxelrebe and Sauvignon Blanc, which are distilled into Vinyac.
After distillation, the Vinyac is allowed to “breathe” for a while in a wooden cask which no longer imparts colour from the wood. Thus, the Vinyac receives a subtle, delicate maturity but remains clear. The connoisseur drinks this smooth and delicately fruity digestif after a busy day for relaxation or after a rich meal – from a cognac glass in which it can fully unfold its elegant flavours.
The “Vinyac gemstone” inside the bottle is a quartz tiger’s eye. It is said to bring happiness, protect against false friends and have healing powers.
